SHAW ENGINEERING – (August2011 - December 2012) - SR DESIGNER: 

·   VC Summer Nuclear Plant.  Review and redline vendor documents, define scope and method of design standards needed to produce quality product. 

·   Develop Control Room, One-Line, panel drawings, wiring elementary diagrams, interconnection drawings, schematics, cable schedules, equipment lists, and all associated supporting documentation, in association with the switchyard, transformers and substation.

·   Review and revise for quality check of physical and wiring design from beginning development stage through client interface review.    

 

S.R.P. – (June 2010 – August 2011) - SR DESIGNER: 

·   Create new and existing controls/electrical designs for Fossil Power Plant control wiring diagrams, panel schedules,  MCC’s, power distribution, cable/tray routing documentation and scheduling, DCS and I/O data

·   Pre-Outage field walk downs and research for upcoming plant outage.  Field Assignment on site during the plant outage, working with the contract crews to install and resolve construction phase issues.

·   Document and redline modifications during Installation and obtain needed data to complete all associated documentation and design records for Plant Installation Records.

 

SHAW ENGINEERING – (October 2008 – June 2010) - SR DESIGNER: 

·   Electrical design and development for new Coal Power Plant. 

·   Review vendor documents and P&ID’s, I & C, documents, and scope to develop wiring diagrams and interconnection drawings, schematics, cable schedules, equipment lists, I/O lists panel schedules.

 

U.R.S. WASHINGTON GROUP DIV. – (March 2008 – October 2008) - DESIGNER: 

·   Electrical design for Defense Dept. Demilitization of Chemical Weapons, and Electrical Instrumentation & Controls group. 

·   Design new and upgrade existing electrical and physical plans. Instrumentation, control wiring, schematics, site, substations, earthing plans,  calculations, loop diagrams,  cable/conduit trays and routing, P&ID’s, MCC, part specifications and bill of materials.

·   Design systems, battery calculations, equipment selection, physical and wiring designs, panel layout, site plans, material spec sheets, and submittal packages.

·   Commercial lighting designs.  Work directly with engineers and designers to develop drawings for new and existing projects.
